Us creative types are strange creatures (so I've been told)... we all have different ideals of the perfect set up - the 8FOOT3 studio is located in a basement, and this is where I spend my working day - in a room with no windows, no natural light, and best of all no distractions... ideal! #creativecave
Creating a logo design that sums up a brand can be an extraordinarily challenging task for even the most accomplished creative director or graphic designer. Capturing the personality, style and essence of the company is something that's very difficult to do when you've only got a small canvas to work with.
There are a lot of different methods and techniques that you can apply to influence the style of a logotype, from the colour palette and visual imagery that you choose, to the typeface, white space – and even the negative space – that you use.
Need a logo designed or even a redesign? My advice is take the typographical route, a strong, highly visual, complex design to create but cleverly done can look simply awesome.
I got this through the post this morning from a client to say 'thank you' for a recently completed design project... well, no actually, thank you for being awesome and creating an environment where youngsters of all abilities can enjoy themselves, learn, grow and have fun! So, I've kept you all waiting long enough! Finally after 7 years out on my own as a studio based graphic designer, I have created my website showcasing an array of different projects I've worked on over the years. I'm proud to have a diverse range of clients, some of which have been with me from day one such as Wallace & Gromit's Grand Appeal and Flamingo Creative, some challenging briefs have come my way but have made me a strong and confident creative designer.
Based in Cirencester, Gloucestershire, I have clients from all over the country, from all different aspects of business designing projects from logos to national campaigns, no project is too large or too small. Every brief, no matter what budget, is approached and created with the same amount of attention to detail... basically the project is not presented until I am happy with the outcome.
Please feel free to contact me for a no obligation quote, I'd be happy to talk to you about any upcoming design projects you may have and what I can offer you in terms of a senior level creative graphic designer.
